About me Many years ago, in the Golden Days of the Dot Com Boom, I had the opportunity to attend college. Which I promptly did so at Olympic College and attained my Certificate of Proficiency in Oracle Database Design and Development... just as the Dot Com bubble burst. So, what was I to do with my newfound database and programming experience? I went back to school and attained my Associates in Technical Arts in Integrated Multimedia (Emphasis Animation) and transferred to Henry Cogswell College for a Bachelor's in Digital Animation. Unfortunately I ran out of funding and so did the College before I could complete my degree. In an attempt to further my artistic abilities, I started looking into video games. I would ask myself How would I model this rather unusual garbage can? How could I make use of this rock wall? What type of animation loops and single loop animations would I need to make something look and feel realistic? Soon, I had four CD's full of photos, ready for textures and modeling. I was met with frustration, however, as I soon learned my computer was not quite up to the challenge of running 3DS MAX. While waiting for my computer and 3DS Max to work out their differences, I practiced my art, sorted my photo textures and babysat my website...(which is hand-coded...all of it...by hand... in HTML...) Recently I gained access to another computer (albeit it's not mine) upon which I can learn and practice modeling and create textures. So when not consumed by my passion for scribbling some nteresting creature into life or playing World of Warcraft, I can be found forging my way into the ranks of the modeling world...one polygon at a time.
